Join cyclists, runners, walkers and many others to enjoy the beautiful scenery and back roads of Griffith Park. Our rides take you on a journey through the park and surrounding areas and our runs/walks travel around the most tranquil areas of Griffith Park. Top it all off with at our wonderful end event venue. By participating, you are supporting Streets Are For Everyone (SAFE) and Walk N' Rollers in their combined missions of creating safer, healthier communities by making the streets safer for all users, ending hit and run fatalities and encouraging people of all ages to be more active.

Registration opens at 6:00am, it is recommended you arrive at least 30mins before your event start to register and 15mins before your event start if you are already pre-registered, to pick up your bib.

Finish The Ride was started by cyclist Damian Kevitt as a movement for safer streets after he was hit and nearly killed while riding in Griffith Park in February of 2013. 
 


 

Finish The Ride is the spirit of courage and determination to overcome tragedy despite apparently insurmountable odds. It's a movement that has literally been heard around the world. Through its awareness campaigns, Finish The Ride event have been responsible for dropping hit and run crimes by 16% in a single year.

Streets Are For Everyone (SAFE) aims to improve the quality of life for pedestrians, bicyclist and drivers alike by working to reduce traffic caused fatalities to Zero. SAFE addresses the problem in a holistic fashion through direct education, broad awareness campaigns, partnerships, community outreach, policy and legislation, support for those impacted and other proven strategies. Walk n' Rollers encourages children to walk and bike to school more often and more safely. Walking and biking to school not only helps kids add activity to their day while reducing traffic pollution around schools, but teaches kids life-long lessons like good decision making, responsibility and community awareness.
